What type of makeup do you use?
Our makeup artists at Styled By Muah prefer to use traditional makeup and application methods. The reason for this is traditional makeup comes in the largest range of shades and is customizable to target all skin concerns be it coverage for hyper-pigmentation or acne and can even help correct texture such as large pores and fine lines. It can be applied as a sheer tint or built up to full coverage dependant on each individuals needs. Over the years our artist have experimented with all methods of application and countless products to ensure they work with the best of the best to give you a long wearing, water and sweat proof, beautiful makeup look.
Does Styled By Muah provide hair and makeup for more then just weddings?
Yes! Bridal is just one of our loves, we provide hair and makeup for any type of event, be it photoshoots, commercials, or date nights.
I have seen your work on Instagram and I want to book with you, what do I need to do?
Styled By Muah requires a signed service agreement and a 25% deposit to secure a booking. Once the deposit is paid and the contract is received your booking will be finalized!
What services do you offer?
Styled By Muah provides services for both men and women in hair styling and makeup artistry. They will also be providing hair extensions in the near future so stay tuned!
Do you accept tips?
Gratuities are not reflected in the pricing and are left to the discretion of the client. Warm words and gratuities however are greatly appreciated!
Do you provide lashes and how much are they?
All makeup bookings include your choice of our exclusive BomBabe Beauty luxury mink lashes designed by yours truly - Styled By Muah. Re-usable up to 30 times, these lashes are handcrafted with love, care and our clients in mind! Our lashes are made of either 100% cruelty-free Mink Fur allowing for the most natural look and feel. Do you work with extensions?
Yes! In fact we love extensions! We will be carrying a line from our preferred brand for the upcoming 2018 season. Inquire for rates and availability!
How much is your travel fee? Is there a minimum of services that need to be booked?
Currently travel in Kamloops City limits is free of charge for any size of party. We have flat rate fees to commonly requested surrounding areas and request a minimum booking size of four or equal dollar value to travel beyond city limits.
How far in advance do you book? I don't want to miss out!
We will accept bookings for weddings no more then 1 year in advance. In peak wedding season (MAY 1 - SEPT 30) we typically have booked up by the Christmas of the previous year. That being said there are openings and potential for date changes or cancellations so do not hesitate to inquire! If we are un available for your requested date please inquire for trusted recommendations in the field!
